[The Life Of A Pacifist...]

Okay...

Well, I'm reading through these other reviews, and they don't seem to get it. Yes, your decisions don't affect the game much, but that's because as a pacifist, you really don't have much choice other than avoid conflict. Go figure.

As for the game, I understood the concept and I actually thought it was humorous because as a reformed doormat, I totally know what she's going through. I especially liked how the other characters slowly become dirtier and more grotesque. It would have been fun if you could make the poor girl just SNAP, but that would defeat the message of the game.

So Unique!

It's a really unique game. I agree with the other commenters though, it feels too short. As I was playing, I was sort of working it out in my head what it the point of the game would be. Would it be a good or evil thing? Would it be a robot? Would it destroy a city? What IS it? I liked that I could guess and imagine what it would do when I was done! It was fun! Another thing someone brought up was to have different evolutions depending on what you clicked. That's a concept. I think, even though you said you weren't a programmer, you should toy around with the concept. You might very well be onto something great, here. Something that people will look forward to every few months that you'll make a new one.

I'm not sure what to make of this game. Do I enjoy it or do I feel repelled by it? Did it excite or frighten? But, this was your intention, yes? I'm not sure how to rate this either, but for the sake of being unique, 10.

Great!

You took an old school RPG format and made it enjoyable. The storyline is a little predictable and even though I'm not finished yet, I still know that I'm going to be sitting here for a few hours busting some bosses until it picks up some more. As for the characters and the dialect, I think you did a good job there. Not a lot of people pay attention to the characters as much as the actual gameplay, but it still makes a difference. Brilliant with the "let us know when you have some fuzz on those peaches" bit. I thought that bit of humor was well placed.

Overall, I give this an 8 out of 10. Deduct 1 point for the dry storyline and another for the lack of twists and turns thus far. Otherwise, good go at the old school RPGs. I think they need more love.

I think it was a nice story, with a good story line, but I think that if you made it longer and added more, well, happy to it, it'll get a better response. I personally enjoyed it, but I think it went by too fast. The game itself started to get fuzzy (as fuzzy as pixels can get) at the end portion, and the ending where you go to the doctor doesn't make much sense, but overall, it was enjoyable and I hope to see more of these from you!

So fun!

This game has a little of everything. It's got action, romance, adventure, a little horror and some human psyc. I thought it was a load of fun! You took the time to create a whole world! The art at the end could use some work, but that's really the only thing I was nit picky about. It was just a great game and I can't wait for the sequel!

It was fun but...

You should make it tougher, with a little shop or something so that you can buy better dynamite and stuff like that. I did have a good time playing, though, and I like how you used the money to measure the score, but you should have a high score board or something.

Wow...

I mean it. The game story was simple, but for some odd reason, i got sucked in. This game series was incredible. The art was unique and the creatures were so different. I loved the characters as few as there were and just seeing the world you created was so amazing. the music was nice and gave a mystic yet modern feel to the game. Over all 10 and 5.
